But the deck is stacked from the very beginning, handed down with constancy throughout the generations.

Lots of good things to ponder in here, Mike. Like a room of mirrors where all you see is yourself reaching out from each one of them. And then you walk out of the room of mirrors and the sun is shining and everything is there...and self-reflection itself comes to have had no meaning, but by some equal token, it was not fruitless to have done so. Is that a paradox then? For surely, the paradox exists? Or is that just a riddle of the mind as well? Interesting, now I think of that.

I still ponder between mind and ego. Melding, transformation in that, rather than divide and conquer. I suppose in trying to defeat chaos, one simply provides more of it. Strange as it seems now to think it. I actually do believe the two become separated at some juncture in early life and that is what causes the illusion of separation. Oy, I don't know where to go with that one. Mind of no meaning, ego at war.

"If everything is meaningless, nothing need be avoided and ALL can be engaged meaningfully, simply because, along with the absence of meaning, comes an absence of fear. Infinite players play fearlessly because they collapse ALL the meaningless into ONE meaning. When you have no idea what you should be doing, everything you do is as good as anything else that could be done or WAS done in the past."

The Cheshire Cat! Voila!

Let the rivers flow, where they all go nobody knows. In the clear morning light, all the whys, the wherefores, the whatnots...it's ok. What an allegory is Carroll's Alice, if you really think about it. Better to be the cat than Alice, I begin to think.

Blessings,
Nahnni

No One,
