One learns, at some point, to maybe stay away from the lion and the jackal, but perhaps the Koala and the dairy cow, not so bad. Maybe it's not the ego that separates man from the rest of the animal kingdom, but the complexity of it. Deep trust may rest somewhere between the naive and the hardened. In between, once burned, twice shy or many times stupid (or in contrast pragmatic and wise.)

The Tarot deck is interesting, because it encompasses all types, yet the deck cannot be complete without each archetype. Maybe that's the inescapable truth. It is within all those relationships, one becomes the fool or the sage. They are all dependent on each other, but the traps are somehow what need to be discerned. (I am not a Tarot enthusiast, but do find the principles of archetypes intriguing.)

The past serves as both a guide and a trap and all the twists and turns that create a perception of things. And it is ever changing, evolving and sometimes reverts (such as in old age where one might simply give up and attempt to reclaim old securities).

I am of the mind that a unified awakening would need a unified experience, spontaneous, perhaps. But what is it that we are awakened to? How would that be defined or experienced? We cannot know. Because we don't know, the quest itself becomes just another Quixotic chase of myth. I was reading an article on what may or may not have occurred in significant watersheds in time that brought about spontaneous construction of architecture, language, etc. Certainly, something happens universally at certain points, due to catastrophe or even something unknown to us at present when studying particular eras. We still don't know what that was exactly. Speculations, theories, but we don't really know. All we know, is that something happened. Maybe it is through some kind of cellular memory that we reach back, but that seems a chasing of phantasm as well.

Even on the smallest scale, like online forums, something happens and either everything changes, falls apart, is accepted, resisted or fully rejected at some point depending on one's point of view. Maybe all of that comes from the past. Which is the greater ego? Which is prone to submit? Which is prone to simply say "screw it" and walk away. It is an animal kingdom, there is no escape. It's like looking back on your favorite summer. It never recurs in exactly the same way and eventually you stop trying to look for it again. Then, something greater occurs and if you can let that go, something even greater than that may occur. Over and over.

But in recognizing the traps and the foibles of the "they", perhaps we escape the same pitfalls and maybe that is what passes on. But then you listens to politicians, for example, and they beg a return to what was before things broke down. Like going back will change some future result. Entrapments of false securities, I suppose.

Going back full circle, there may be no escape from the jackal, the trickster, the mocking bird, so all you've got is your friends and they become the family and they become the experience. What else is there?

Yes, I know I babble, but in truth it is an intriguing post you have up and many thoughts surface.

Thanks,
Nahnni
